Cheap but useful gadgets - Gorillapod

I bought a cheap imitation Gorillapod from eBay for 99p. It took a month for delivery from Hong Kong but it was well worth it. I can't say enough about this gadget really. It's come in ultra handy for photos. It's extremely lightweight and perfect for casual, amateur and professional photographers.

The Gorillapod can be wrapped around or stood on almost anything. I tried to tell one of the bridesmaids from my upcoming wedding that she had to wear it on her head to film the service because we couldn't afford a videographer. I'm not sure it's suitable for that though.

A genuine Gorillapod is probably about £20 but I think my imitation is perfect. I'm pretty sure there is an iPhone version or adapter out there that you can buy also.
